Hello golfers, 

So we find another busy week has passed at the club with plenty of golf played and the Pro Shop team very busy with lessons and custom fittings in the indoor studio. It's also been a busy week on the course with the weather generally holding well and the course in great shape. As we move through the next few weeks we will definitely start to notice the evenings becoming lighter which as a golfer is a great sight to see.


 

Pro Shop Initiatives

As mentioned last week, we have decided to bring you some Pro Shop Initiatives in order to introduce some fun mini comps and events focused on improving your game. Our first three initiatives for this year are: The 10 Yard Challenge, The Wedge Challenge, and a Ball Fitting Day. 

The Member's Development Programme will coincide with these. The idea is that any member supporting any of our initiatives receives development points. We will maintain a points list and towards the end of the year the top 5 points earners will be invited to an exclusive coaching day with me.

Team Multiplier 

A full field took part in a team multiplier format. It's a hard format to predict the winning score but once again the scoring was superb. Taking top spot with 118pts was the team of Dave Baitup, Jimmy Heal, Kev Cocker and Steve Sheldon. Runners up were Ali Ross, Nigel Armstrong, Pete Money and Andy Parker with 117pts.

 

Christmas Is Back! 

Over the next few weeks it will seem like Christmas is back in the Pro Shop as we start to receive deliveries of some new season stock. As always we will be stocking a great selection of stock at superb prices so we will continue to be your number one stop for all your golfing needs. Always Improving 

I am always looking to improve the service I can give to our customers. With this in mind I am making a few improvements to the Pro Shop over the next week or so. I am having a little tweak to the layout of the shop with a view to improving its appearance and functionality. I am also getting the window signage madeand having new signage put in the shop. I hope you will like what I have done and enjoy coming to see us even more.

Despite the frost and the fog we have had a very busy week coaching and fitting in our superb indoor golf studio.
