Ladies’ golf fundraiser for Rainbow Living Ladies’ Golf Captain, Caroline Harris, teed off at 6.15am on Tuesday, to start the ladies’ golf ‘Dawn ‘Til Dusk Challenge’ with the Ladies’ Golf Vice Captain, Lizzie, past Ladies’ Golf Captain Ali, plus all the committee members, Joy Champion, Jo Connolly, Charleen Reeves, Jackie Harris, Jenny Outhwaite and Liz Mapson. |
The early tee of was the start of a long day of golf, starting after sunrise and going through until sunset, to raise money for Rainbow Living.
Rainbow Living is a volunteer run charity providing support and accommodation for young adults with learning disabilities in Devon.
This is the second year the charity has been supported by the Golf Captains at Exeter Golf and Country Club.

Germany’s Sophia Popov finished on -7 at Royal Troon to claim victory at the AIG Women’s Open. Despite having never won on the LPGA or Ladies European Tour before, the 27-year-old fought off challenges from stars like World No. 8 Minjee Lee and seven-time Major Champion Inbee Park. Meanwhile, on the PGA Tour, Dustin Johnson won The Northern Trust, the first FedEx Cup playoff event, by shooting a staggering -30. That ended up being an 11-stroke victory, which raises the age-old question of what’s more entertaining:
