Golf on Tour

English top in Hawaii

Tour golf is very much a way of life and an unforgiving one at that. As recently as 2019, Harris English was struggling to return to the PGA Tour, having lost his card and been demoted to the Korn Ferry Tour (this is the feeder tour to the PGA, much like the Challenge Tour in Europe).

Now, English is a PGA Tour champion once again. The 31-year-old picked up his first victory since 2013 at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii, having fought off Justin Thomas’ pursuit of a third title in five years at the event. What an achievement, and one for the sentimentalists.

Major signing for Callaway

We'd normally try to build the suspense a little bit as to which player has chosen to put Callaway clubs in the bag moving forward, but the picture gives it away somewhat.

As you can see, it's world number two, Jon Rahm!

Apparently, the Spaniard carded a course-record 59 the first time he took to the course with his new bag. So, if you wanted to follow in Rahm's footsteps and give Callaway a try, it's available in the pro shop.
